BdM-Mass Balance

The Mass Balance, BdM, represents the difference between the quantity of aquired good (production and/or purchase) and the quantity of sold product (sale and/or processing).
In rete OIP each BdM is uniquely identified  by 4 data: operator CUAA, product Intrastat Code, product type (organic, in conversion), Year.
Each operator can have more than one Mass Balances depending on the products processed.

Intrastat Code

The Intrastat Code allow each nation member of the European Union to identify univocally a product.

CUUA

CUAA is the il Code Unique of identification Farms, it corresponds to the company Tax Code and it is considered the identifying number to use in each relations with public administration. That's the reason why it's also used in rete OIP as a discriminating element in company recognition.​

CB - Certifying Bodies

CB, Certifying Bodies, is an organization that certifies crops conformity in marketing and in organic products processing.
On the site DATABIO di ACCREDIA it is possible to consult the CB list of biological sector .

Operator

The term 'operator' identifies who, operating in the biological sector, acts in a concrete way in transactions..
An operator can be producer, trader or transformer.

Transaction

It represents the product transiction between two operators that will be identified as transferor, for example a seller, and receiver, for example a buyer.
